Growing up in North Vancouver, the rides at the PNE were always a natural part of the skyline looking into Vancouver. It was a family tradition, likely until my teenage years when it was no longer cool to be seen in public with my parents, to attend the Fair each year. My Dad and I often rode the rides together while my mom browsed the Expo and the PNE coveted prize home. And today, years later, much has changed but much has also stayed the same! Now that they’re bigger and able to go on most of the rides, my kids and I relive my childhood memories, and make new ones spending hours at the Fair.
As a single mom to two kids, a day at the Fair can quickly translate into a couple day’s pay, but this year there are many ways to save at the Fair at the PNE making this a family friendly activity you’re not going to want to miss this summer.

FREE Gate Admission for all guests
Tuesdays, August 22 and 29 from 11am- 1pm
Re-entrance hand stamps will only be given after 1pm. Guests are welcome to re-enter the gates prior to 1pm without hand stamp
Wild Ride Wednesdays
Wednesdays, August 23 and 30 from 11am – 1pm
Purchase two Playland passes for the price of 1.
Only available onsite day of promotion. Does not apply to ride coupons or complimentary passes
Seniors’ Day
Thursday, August 24 from 11am – Late
Seniors 65+ receive FREE gate admission
Vancity Member Special
NEW extended special – offer valid every day of The Fair from 11am – Late

After 9pm nightly, purchase a Fair gate pass for just $5
Twilight Ride Pass
Presented by 94.5 Virgin Radio, Tuesday through Thursday after 5pm, purchase a Playland pass for $29.75
Online/Retailer Savings
