I guess I should start this post out by mentioning that I don’t typically go half way on things… As an example, I once took a one stroke painting course, instead of buying the $20 worth of supplies as required for the course, I spent well over $100 on supplies I’d go on to use once, caddies to hold umpteen brushes, dvd’s, books, you name it. I played much the same game with cake decorating (I swear Michael’s is going to be the death of me!)
So naturally, when I discovered the world of bento, I had to follow suit! So, not only am I a bandwagon jumper sucker for a fad, I’m also super cheap a sucker for a good deal. So when I saw that there were Goodbyn reusable, resealable, and SUPER cute lunch boxes on Zulily (If you haven’t checked Zulily out yet do it… DO IT NOW!!! They’re awesome!! I’ll still be here when you get back!) I just had to get a couple for the kids! I was terribly disappointed when they didn’t arrive before the weekend, but ALAS!! My husband came home today with a giant box for me and I was like a kid on Christmas day!
See… I yanked the packaging all apart before I could even get a photo!! |
I’ll dedicate a full blog post to reviewing these awesome little boxes (that I’ll note have little handles built on the top, perfect for little hands, and so far seem to have a good tight seal, but not so tight that said little hands can’t get them undone, AND they come with their own coordinating juice container AND STICKERS!!!! Gee, if I’m this excited I can’t wait to see my kids!! I’m going to let them decorate their lunch boxes before I use them next and I’m sure that’ll be fun!) once I’ve had some time to fully play with them test them out.
Oh, and if it wasn’t great enough to be getting bynto container awesomeness in the box today, Zulily also threw in a few sample boxes of quaker cereal with my order. See… I told you they’re great! Now go check it out!!
In this bynto: Cookies, yogurt, fruit snacks, juice, cream cheese and jam flower sammies, penguin crackers |
This is Madison’s Bynto rockin some flower shaped sammies, and flower shaped fruit snacks that you sadly can’t really see.
And the two Bynto buddies all packed up and ready for lunch! Aren’t they cute!! I am already hooked and just NEED to get more… I wonder if I leave them in the cupboard together for a while if they’ll make little baby byntos?! …
Enjoy!
