I have a confession to make…
My kids have lived a horribly deprived life.
No, it’s not that I left the crusts on their sandwiches, or failed to cut the carrots into cute little stars to go with their outer space themed lunch box.
My children, had never owned any of those small plastic building blocks. That’s right folks, those tiny little construction toys were outlawed from my home for fear of the dreaded, late night, hallway foot puncture as a result of careless children leaving their stuff out.
Because, you know… That’s never happened before…
Anyways, after receiving the new KRE-O Transformer Age of Extinction sets and losing my kids to cooperative, constructive play bliss, I’m a reformed momma.
The biggest kid has always been a mechanical thinker, and the smallest kid loves dinosaurs, so the Optimus Prime Dino Hauler Set was a popular one. Not only was I thrilled to not hear the constant “I’m bored!” nag chirping out of my kids mouths, but it was great for them to be doing something constructive together that didn’t involve a screen. But the best part of all was how their love for the KRE-O sets caused both kids to create an elaborate baggy storage system for their new toys to ensure that they had a home and would not get lost in the abyss that seems to be their rooms. It was so great to see the kids have a real sense of pride over their toys.
KRE-O is also great because it’s compatible with LEGO and most other major brands.
So there you have it! I’m a reformed hater.
But wait! There’s more!! If you want to become a reformed hater, already love KRE-O, or are one of those crazy ultra prepared folks who may already be scratching items off of that upcoming dreaded C word holiday list, then I’ve got a giveaway for you!
