The holidays are just around the corner! To kick it off right, the annual West Coast Christmas Show & Artisan Marketplace is back this weekend for its 9th year!
So, not exactly in Vancouver, the annual West Coast Christmas Show & Artisan Marketplace is just a short car ride away at the TRADEX Fraser Valley Exhibition Center in Abbotsford, BC.
With over 200 vendors – of which 140 are artisans — you’ll find hand-made doll clothing and wooden toys, seasonal hand-made ornaments, teepee play tents, hand painted silk scarves, upcycled table decor, beard balm, craft spirits, artisan fudges, lollipops and marshmallows, hand crafted doll furniture, personalized ornaments and gifts, Christmas lanterns, ugly Christmas sweaters, paintings, sculptures, blown glass decor, hand crafted trendy baby and children’s accessories, reclaimed wood furniture, gluten free treats, artisan shortbread, cottonwood carvings, boomerangs and much more!
Start, and finish your Christmas shopping at the West Coast Christmas Show & Artisan Marketplace.
Get a taste of what the show has to offer by checking out the picture gallery of artisan creations before you go.
In addition to shopping and sampling, the show features live presentations to meet the needs of visitors’ holiday entertaining, decorating and gift giving. Bring your kids and enjoy the live Christmas music performed by local bands, choirs and carolers plus a huge working model train for the rail fan in your life. Check out Santa’s Workshop where children can learn model making, create their own sand-art, write letters to Santa and decorate their own fresh baked Christmas cookie. Kids can even roll their own maple taffy, the truly Canadian Christmas candy — and of course pictures with Santa.
Make sure to make a pit stop at the Home For The Holidays Stage for ideas, tips and tricks to help with holiday cooking and entertaining.
The West Coast Christmas Show & Marketplace is Western Canada’s leading holiday season show that brings together holiday gifts, fancy foods, personal services, decor ideas, and festive culinary presentations under one roof.
Children 16 & under are free, Adult tickets are $6, and Seniors are $5 — Further discounts are available if purchased online. Hang on to your ticket as it grants you FREE re-entry all weekend! Parking is FREE, with a complimentary Christmas decorated shuttle provided by The Vancouver Trolley Company.
Hope to see you there this weekend!
