Ok, now let’s be real here. Part of my new bento lovin’ obsession is not just a way for me to use my creativity to make a daunting task a little less daunting, but it’s also a way for me to satisfy my ridiculous internal desire to be the coolest mom on the block… Go ahead… Judge my selfish vanity, but don’t deny it, you’ve had that desire too… Maybe it wasn’t the mom type, but you’ve certainly wanted to look better in your dress at the company Christmas party than Suzie in accounting, or wanted your potato salad to be the talk of the neighborhood potluck. If your answer is still no than you’re obviously full of it and I’ll no longer believe anything that comes out of your mouth! Regardless, that is at least a partial motivator to my quest for bento supremacy.
This leads in to bento number 2. Pac Man bento. My son has recently become obsessed with Pac Man. How does an almost 3 year old boy even know what Pac Man is you ask? Well, I have my beloved iPhone to thank for that. My son has been playing Pac Man on my phone for a couple months so when I stumbled upon THIS i knew I had to test out my new, extremely under developed bento making skills.
If this bento doesn’t make me the coolest mom on the block, I don’t know if anything will!
