I’ve been wanting to do a Dora lunch for some time now as the smallest kid is a HUGE fan, and, well with today being “D” Day (hehe) in my thematic alphabet lunch theme I figured now was as good a time as any! Not going to lie, this lunch took me 1 full hour to do. A little insane if you ask me, especially given that 85% of that was spent on the two little sammies, but in the end it was totally worth it! If I ever make a Dora lunch again I’m sure I can cut the time down because I spent a while fiddling with the hair and deciding what I was going to use! Madison (and Nathan) will be super excited I’m sure!
This lunch consists of macaroni and cheese, peach, grapes, a cookie, Dora fruit snacks, and a Dora sammie. I hand carved the bread in the rough shape of Dora’s head, her face is the bum piece of bread cut with a circle cutter, her hair is hand cut out of nori, her eyes are Wilton candy eyes, her nose is icing writer pen, and her mouth is a little piece of ham. I’m very proud of this one, and even though it took a while (I should also add that while it took an hour to make, I actually finished 3 lunches in that time, so not really all that bad!) to make, the look on the kids faces when I show them tomorrow will make it all worth it!
Enjoy!

Love it!!!!! So cute! My kids used to love Dora, but have moved on. One loves Max & Ruby and the other is obsessed with Dragon Tales. They both love Robot & Monster on Nick too!
