Is there any greater fairy tale than Cinderella? This love story is one that I grew up fantasizing about as a young girl, and through the joys of motherhood, I have been able to share the story with my own daughter (sadly my son show’s little interest!)
In case you’ve been living under a pumpkin and missed the news, Rodgers+Hammerstein’s CINDERELLA is coming to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre April 11-16, and I’ll be playing Fairy Godmother to FOUR lucky readers! I’ve partnered up with Broadway Across Canada to give 2 pairs of lucky readers tickets to opening night! So grab your bestie, your Fairy Godmother, or your evil step-sister and enter below!
Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella is the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical from the creators of Oklahoma! and The King and I that’s delighting audiences with its contemporary take on the classic tale. This lush production features an incredible orchestra, jaw-dropping transformations and all the moments you love—the pumpkin, the glass slipper, the masked ball and more—plus some surprising new twists! Be transported back to your childhood as you rediscover some of Rodgers + Hammerstein’s most beloved songs, including “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible/It’s Possible” and “Ten Minutes Ago,” in this hilarious and romantic Broadway experience for anyone who’s ever had a wish, a dream… or a really great pair of shoes.
“Why, it’s like a dream. A wonderful dream come true.”
“Yes, my child, but like all dreams, well, I’m afraid this can’t last forever. You have only until midnight April 1st (no joke!)”
