Spring has finally started to show with beautiful, warm weather, and flowers starting to crop up everywhere you look. I can’t wait for summer and know that it’s near! Today the kids got a simple Easter themed lunch. I had visions of something glamorous, however between test driving our new Corvette (ya… Note to self, if I really don’t want a Corvette to show up in my driveway upon returning from a frugal Ikea trip, say more to Mr.MoreThanYourAverageMom than just “I don’t approve of a corvette purchase”, but this is a story for another post!), 832 loads of laundry, dishes, and making dinner my creativity ran a little dry (ok, a lot dry because this lunch is pretty sad!)
I hope my poor children don’t starve today because looking back on this lunch it doesn’t seem like all that much food…
Today’s lunch consists of 2 bunny SunButter and Jelly sammies, cucumbers, babybel cheese, a “hatched” egg, and a half a kiwi, and a yogurt (not pictured) all packed up in our EasyLunchBoxes!
I have a super special, super awesome lunch planned for tomorrow that is sure to make the ladies at daycare hate me, but I’m excited for it none the less! Make sure you check back tomorrow to have a look!
