I always love how 4 day work weeks seem to have a way of making themselves feel like they were in fact, 64 day work weeks. This week was even more exhausting fun as I tackled single parenting while Mr.MoreThanYourAverageMom was working out of town. Needless to say the end of the week came and I was left with stale bread, scant leftovers, and no motivation. While scrounging through my cupboards I discovered a bag of hot dog buns that were on their way out that I didn’t want to toss. Being as my freezer is already chalk full of bread scraps, and the girl child has decided that she no longer likes hot dogs unless they’re shaped like Octo-dogs or Olympic Rowers, this left me with little choice but to put a creative twist on an old favorite… Sammie sushi (Stay tuned for the tutorial!). Always a favorite with the kids, super easy, and empties out the pantry without having to toss anything out. Win-Win!
