Rejoice parents everywhere, summer is near! It’s been a long school year of packing lunches, extra curricular activities, homework and who knows what else on top of work! At the end of the day, few things are more satisfying than settling in on the couch and binge watching your latest Netflix obsession. Mom’s and Dad’s out there, you deserve it!
But what about the kids? I suppose if I get to enjoy some coveted unwinding time, it makes sense that my kids should too. Between school, friends, sports, lunchbox theatre, homework, music lessons and more, there’s no denying that my two small humans have a lot on their plates. Even during summer break, my kids are typically jam packed with summer camps, play dates and pool parties. Sounds like a mini vacation, but this can be both emotionally and physically draining. Downtime with an episode or two of my kids favorite Netflix show can be the quick mental reset they need.
Why not add a little fun, and education into unwind time, by taking your kids on a journey of exploration with Netflix. Travel has proven to be a great way to open kids’ eyes to new and diverse people, places and things and Netflix is a quick and easy way to introduce little ones to the vast Arctic Plains with Frozen Planet or the depths of the jungles with Wild Ones, all from the comfort of your couch with zero impact to your pocket book! All you need is your passport and you’re good to go! No, seriously! Download this Netflix Passport and your travel options are endless!
Where will you go on your first Netflix adventure?
