Holy Hannah am I tired! Not gonna lie… Our first week (less a day) of hosting our two students is over, and I’m very much looking forward to the weekend. While I do love bento making, making 4 lunches every night is exhausting!! Especially after you factor in daycare pick ups, student pick ups, dinner making, park playing, mani and pedi’ing (yes, Miss M and I had the place to ourselves for a couple hours last night so we had a bubble bath and gave ourselves matching mani’s and pedi’s!! Rough life, I know!). BUT… I survived!
The girls came home from school yesterday saying that all the kids were taking pictures of their lunch so I had a nice little ego boost from that! 🙂 It’s nice to know that my efforts are appreciated, or at least enjoyed!
I had it all planned in my head that I was going to make monkeys for todays lunch, but at the last minute I veto’d that idea thinking it was going to be too much work to start at 10pm, so I opted for the super time consuming, how on earth did I think this was going to be easier simpler flower theme. Holy cow did those little flower petals take forever to cut and butter!
