Tic-tac-toe

As always, I approached this lunch with big, elaborate, knock your socks off ideas, this time however, my big ideas didn’t exactly materialize! I’ve had a car molded egg in the fridge for a couple of days and it needed to be used so my best intentions told me that I should make a cute car themed bento with hand carved sammies and all the other imaginative things you could think of. Best intentions however, turned into just that… 

Instead, the kids got this quasi lame, but super easy, tic-tac-toe bento! Second place isn’t all bad right?! Olive and mustard accents act as the game pieces atop this ham and cheese sammie. Hope the biggest kid eats his lunch and doesn’t just play with it!
