Why I’m not looking forward to Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life

Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life

Ok, before we go any further… I have a confession to make.

I have never watched the Gilmore Girls… Nope… Never, not a single episode! And not because I didn’t want to, or wasn’t interested, I just — Well… I don’t know!

I have no good reason as to why I never watched it, especially given that it was totally a show I would have been interested in! Between graduating High School, my first years of University, and moving from BC to Alberta and back must not have left much time for TV. I guess I just missed the boat on that one.

Irony is, I CONSTANTLY get comments on how much I look like Lauren Graham, aka Lorelai Gilmore.

Gilmore Girls: A Year In The LifeWhat do you think?

Anyways, unless you’ve been living under a rock you likely know that Netflix is releasing Gilmore Girls: A year in the Life, on November 25th. The upcoming launch of this much anticipated show has me both terrified and excited. Terrified because I really, really want to get into this show, and in order to do that, I will have to catch up on seven seasons to bring me up to date!

Binge watching or not, that’s a lot of Netflix!

I’m excited because I know I’m going to love it!

So… As soon as I’ve finished Season 3 of OITNB (yes… I’m still working on this one) and The Walking Dead, you know that I’ll be throwing back to the early 2000’s and making up for lost time!

I can not wait to grab my girlfriends, some Chinese food, and my Gilmore Girls Trivia game for an epic ladies date night in!
