I was recently challenged by Circle of Mom’s to come up with cute foods served on a stick. One of the first things that jumped into my head was pizza on a stick! I’m all about taking an old favorite and spinning it into something new and exciting, so that’s what I’ve done here! Same old pizza, served up in a new and different way, and the best part… No cooking required! Everybody wins!
This lunch consists of President’s Choice Blue Menu Naan bread cut into preschool sized pieces, stacked with cubed marble cheese, mini peperoni, and cherry tomatoes, what meat eating kid doesn’t like pepperoni pizza? The mini dipper has pasta sauce (I didn’t have pizza sauce, and really this is practically the same thing only with veggies hidden within!) for dipping, and the lunch is finished off with a side of sliced kiwi and apples, and left over cheesy noodles all packed in our Easylunchboxes. Delish!
Variations to this are endless and super easy too! I’ll definitely be making these again with fresh pineapple and sliced or chunked ham for the kids, or a swanky adult version with alfredo sauce for dipping and skewered pineapple, bacon, BBQ chicken, and naan… Mmmmm, is your mouth watering yet?
What are your favorite pizza toppings?
Enjoy!
