Making your treat bag topper
Within Cricut Design Space, you can use a stock template, or design your own treat bag topper from scratch. Or, feel free to grab mine from Design Space.
As with my other fun Cricut projects, picking a good font is the key to success in making this treat bag topper.
My mistakes: The fonts I chose were a touch on the narrow side, so I’d recommend choosing a larger block font. I also learned that standard construction paper is really difficult to cut. This template cuts the word S’more out of a separate colour with the intention of gluing the word to the top of the card. Not sure if my cutting blade is getting a little dull, or if I used too strong a cutting mat, but I epically failed here. Regardless of how I cut, I ended up with 30, partially-torn “S’mores” stuck to various cutting mats. Definitely use thicker card stock, a thicker font, or opt to draw the word on. In the end, I hand drew the word on with a Sharpie, but next time I would switch from cut to draw and have the Cricut do that for me.
