Believe it or not, this slippery little sucker is a jellyfish. A combination of bad lighting, and not so awesome execution resulted in a less than jellyfish looking jellyfish, but I’m ok with that! The lunch was quick to make, and still cute and delicious in my opinion and that’s what really counts!
In keeping with my alphabet thematic unit, This lunch consists of a Jambon and Jack Jellyfish Sammie (Jambon is the french word for ham! Did you know that Canada actually has 2 official languages, English and French?!), Jellybeans, homemade chips (or crunchy stirfry topper) made in my T-fal ActiFry, and mixed veggies. There are also some slippery fish in the jellyfish tentacles in an attempt to make it look more sea like! We’ll call them Jack fish in honor of Mr.MoreThanYourAverageMom’s Manitoban heritage!
Make sure you tune in tomorrow as there will be a super fun blog hop going on for a pretty cool day! See you tomorrow!
Enjoy!
