A Tim Hortons Iced Capp is like a Canadian summertime right of passage. I for one, have been living off of them them this summer with the amazing weather we’ve been having.
Not only has a near daily Iced Capp taken a toll on my wallet, it’s not doing wonders for my waistline either. Couple that with the fact that there were 645 cars in the drive through today on my way home from the water park, I knew there had to be a better way.
So, in the name of science, I pulled out my Nutribullet and my Keurig and got to work!
The result was a deliciously smooth and creamy Iced Capp that rivals that of Tim Hortons. Super easy, inexpensive, and far better for you than the “original”.
Try it today, you wont be disappointed!
{MAKE IT} Homemade Iced Capp
Ingredients
- 5 oz strong brewed coffee (I brewed a Folgers Caramel Drizzle K-Cup on the small cup setting of my Keurig)
- 2 Tbsp packed brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp vanilla
- ¼ cup milk (I used skim, but whole milk or cream would yield a creamier Iced Capp)
- ¼ cup coconut milk
- 1 cup ice cubes (15 or so)
Instructions
- Brew coffee, mix in sugar, vanilla, and milk. Cool completely.
- Add coffee mixture and ice to Nutribullet and blend for 30 seconds - 1 minute or until completely blended.
- Pour into cup and enjoy!
Notes
If you aren't a fan of coconut milk, use ½ cup of your favorite milk. Alternatively, if you're looking for a dairy free version, use ½ of coconut milk or other dairy free milk
Because I was curious, I computed the Nutritional Information for the Tim Horton’s Iced Capp vs. the Homemade Iced Capp. Not only is the homemade version far better for you, it omits things like saturated and trans fats and cholesterol. Yuck!

Perfect! Blending only took 10 seconds in my Ninja. Cooled coffee mixture in freezer for 10 minutes.
I might make up a batch of the coffee mix and leave it in the fridge, taking what I want whenever.
This is the real thing.
